Project Name

Blind Touch

Project Details

This projects briefing required me to visit an exhibit at the Welcome Collection to draw inspiration from a different type of consumer who may have physical or mental disability.

Heather Barnett’s ‘One Man’s Land’, a precise stainless steel etching of a young man’s face using an three-dimensional mapping, helped me gain a new perspective to draw my inspiration. For those individuals who suffer from blindness, it was the idea of their intense sense of touch that was the focus of my research.
